Title

Salt water temperature experiment

Problem Scenario

We were worried that if the salt dissolve it would not take the temperature of the water.

Broad Question

Doe's Salt Affect the heat of the water temperature?

Specific Question

Doe's salt affect the water temperature?

Hypothesis

I don't think the salt water will affect the water temperature.

I think the The temperature will go up down up down.

Variables

Independent Variable:the amout of salt

Dependent Variable:The temperature.

Variables That Need To Be Controlled:The amount of water amount of sturs.

Potential Problems And Solutions

Base temperature of water is inconsistent.

Safety Or Environmental Concerns

A splash could be possible if you put so much salt in the air could come out go back and hit you in the eyes.

Data Analysis

we figured out that the highest was no salt an the lowest is 1/4 tsp.we have no salt cause the temperature to go up down over and over again .
the more salt the higher the temperature.

Conclusion....

there is no evidence that the salt effects the water temperature.

Discussion

Benefit to Community and/or Science

Abstract

we want to know if salt can effect the water temperature. we used the temperature prob and measured the water temperature. There was no evidence that salt effects the water temperature.
